A Saxon glass, the thistle bowl with a solid faceted base, decorated with a formal cartouche containing a three-masted sailing ship, flanked by scrollwork and floral sprays, on a wide faceted teared inverted baluster stem on a foor with folded footrim.

Inscribed: Het Lans Weelvarn: The Prosperity of the Country.

Provenance: from the Chris Crabtree Collection.

In overall good condition with the normal wear underneath the footrim.
The glass curves a little to the left.
