Mazereeuw Antiquair was established in 2017 by Johan Mazereeuw, who since he was a young boy, had a passion for art and antiques. Starting as a collector at a young age and dealing on antique markets and small fairs, Johan was able to transform his passion into a business. Together with his business partner Dennis Laseur, he took over the gallery from Dennis’ uncles who founded their business in 1967. Johan and Dennis are a new generation of antique dealers with lots of passion and love for this profession. In their gallery, they offer a varied collection of five centuries of art, from the Golden Age up to and including the Roaring Twenties.

The gallery, nestled amidst the picturesque canals and historic architecture of Amsterdam, is a treasure trove that beckons both seasoned collectors and curious art enthusiasts alike. Amsterdam’s illustrious history comes alive in the form of Dutch Tiles. These intricate ceramic squares, used to decorate walls and fireplaces, offer glimpses of Dutch life, from serene pastoral scenes to bustling marketplaces.
