Circa 1670 – 1690

A wonderful 17th century Dutch Delftware blue and white dish with Chinoiserie decoration.
The execution of the dish is of high quality with a beautiful thick white glaze, almost cream white, with a clear blue decoration.
In the center, we see a Chinese scene with figures behind palm trees in a rocky landscape.
On the rim, there are four cartouches with Chinese figures.

Also, the back is wonderfully executed with a high gloss white glaze and typical blue lines.

Unmarked, which is normal for this early period of delftware production.

The dish is in perfect condition, with a small backing flaw at 9 o’ clock.
