Circa 1550 – 1600

A stove tile with a beautiful deep green glaze and a relief decoration of the emblem of the Habsburg monarchy. We see in a circle a crowned double-headed eagle holding a scepter and a sword, with on the chest the coat of arms Austria. In the four corners of the tile, we see flower vases with branches coming out, that surround the circle.

The tile is in very good condition. At the back, there are some pieces lost, which is quite normal for these tiles. Also, it has two cracks from the fire, they are stabilized and will not cause any further damage.
