A fine 18th century blue and white dish with floral decoration in Iznik style.
The central scene is a wonderful pattern of flowers and branches. Surrounded by a white border to highlight the central scene. Then again a border in the same style as the central scene. The outer rim is painted brown, which was done to conceal the small chips that already were visible directly after the firing.

Mounted for hanging on the wall.

The dish is in perfect condition, with the normal superficial wear and small chips to the rim.
