Date: 1690 – 1710
A set of two small but fine Dutch Delft vases in Chinese Kangxi porcelain style.
Decorated in a wonderful, deep dark blue on a clear white ground. On the body, we see two figures playing the game of Go. On the other side, we find a rock formation and foliage.
The tops of the vases are enriched with silver (of a later date), which makes them look even more luxurious, although this was probably done because the tops had damage.
Curiously marked 1184.
The vases are in excellent condition, with normal superficial wear and small chips, as expected for their age.
– The tops of the vases were cut and mounted with silver.
