A blue and white Dutch tile with a decoration of a Dutch soldier who just walked out of Rembrandt’s Nightswhatch painting.
The decoration of this tile is very detailed and we can beautifully see the pikier, his clothing, and his arms.
The scene is painted with oak leaves as corner decoration and has a beautiful clear shining white glaze.
The tile is in very good condition, with a baking flaw to the left, further with the normal superficial wear and small chips according to age.
